You have completed your Freediver course. Now it's time to improve freediving skills, and extending dive depths and time. The best way for that is to take Advanced Freediver course. The techniques you will learn in this course can help you to increase your static apnea time to 2.5 minutes, your dynamic apnea distance to 50 meters and constant weight dive depth to 20 meters.
Course Prerequisites

- Medical fitness to make free dives (Medical Statement of the student is accepted)
- Certified as a PADI Freediver, or have a qualifying certification from another training organization
- Successfully completed the EFR Primary Care (CPR) course (or another qualifying course) in the past two years
Course Sections and Duration
There are three sections. The first section is knowledge development. You can obtain your PADI Freediver Touch during course registration and start to work on the knowledge development section at your own pace. This product can be uploaded to your desktop or mobile devices so, you can reach your training material whenever you need it. All the written and video content of the course is included in the material. When you read all the necessary parts and complete the knowledge reviews, we can make a short classroom session to answer your questions and complete the written exam (the written exam can be completed any time before the certification).
The second section is confined water session. This section can be completed either in a pool or at the shallow part of the sea. Many skills including static apnea (breath-hold) for 2.5 minutes and dynamic apnea (underwater swimming) for 50 meters are practiced in this section. (For students younger than 18, 2 minutes static and 40 meters dynamic are required.)
The final section is open water sessions. These sessions can only be conducted in the sea, therefore you can join us on our diving trips which we organize year-round to complete this section. You can read the details about our trips here. You can complete both confined and open water sessions on a trip, so a pool session can be omitted. Our trip prices are here. (You can register for the trip one week prior to the trip date by paying the Diver price.)
Many skills including diving to at least 20 meters are practiced in open water sessions. (For students younger than 18, 15 meters are required.)
After completing all three sessions and the written exam successfully, you will earn PADI Advanced Freediver certification.
The classroom sessions for the knowledge development section can be conducted on weekday evenings or on Saturdays. For the confined and open water sections, we need at least 2 days (one weekend). You can complete these sections within 6 months after your course registration, so you can choose from 10 – 12 dive trips and destinations for your water training.
